Dr. Mary Wells

Dr. Mary Wells, a native of West Tennessee, has called the Eastern Shore home since 2005. Dr. Wells is a Board Certified OB/GYN and has been practicing medicine for over 20 years.

Dr. Wells attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1993. After her undergraduate degree, she moved to Colorado and worked for Vail Associates while attending the University of Denver and received a Master of Science in Neurobiology in 1997. Dr. Wells attended medical school at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center-College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee graduating in 2001. She completed her internship and residency with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Tennessee in Memphis in 2005. Dr. Wells is Board Certified in OB/GYN and licensed to practice medicine in Alabama. She has been on the hospital staff at Thomas Hospital since 2005.

Dr. Wells has been active in the community since moving to the Eastern Shore. She has been on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, Co-Chaired the Grand Summer Ball for Thomas Hospital Foundation and participated in the Polo on the Point Committee. Dr. Wells has also served as Chief of Surgery for Thomas Hospital, Maternal/Infant Committee Chair and the Robotic Surgery Committee.

Dr. Wells is passionate about medicine and educating patients about their health. “Skin care and aging is a concern for all of us. We all want to be our best selves. Starting MD Aesthetics of Mobile Bay has been a dream come true. Turning 50 this year was a big turning point, especially with the changes that happen to the skin.” MD Aesthetics strives to make skin care accessible to everyone.

Her hobbies are snowboarding, reading, exercising and spending time with family and friends. She loves to travel and make memories with her family.

Dr. Dusty Smith

Dr. Dusty Smith is a native of Bay Minette and cofounder of MD Aesthetics of Mobile Bay established in 2020. Dr. Smith is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After graduating with a Biomedical Science degree from the University of South Alabama, she attended medical school at The University of South Alabama School of Medicine. She then went on to continue her training at The University of South Alabama Medical Center, completing a five year surgical residency. During her last year of residency, she served as Chief Resident. In 2012, she joined a busy surgical practice in Mobile, Alabama and moved back to the Eastern Shore. She has grown her practice for the last 10 years with the focus in minimally invasive surgery and breast disease. She has served as the Chief of Surgery and member of Medical Executive Committee at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She is a member of American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and The American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Throughout her career she continues to strive to provide excellent surgical outcomes and to better understand the importance of good cosmetic results. She has implemented techniques such as Hidden Scar for breast cancer patients hoping to limit the visible reminders of surgery and cancer. This personal interest in providing complete aesthetics results inspired her to further her training and become a certified master injector with a focus in contouring. She believes we are at our best when we feel and look our best inside and out. At MD Aesthetics of Mobile Bay, she is able to help patients maintain their natural youthful appearance with the goal of making patients feel their very best.

Dr. Smith is married to Craig Smith and they have 3 wonderful daughters, Misty Kate, Ansleigh and Hollins. She is a member of National Charity League and enjoys volunteering at Prodisee Pantry. She loves spending time outside with her family and friends. She also enjoys running, biking, and reading.

Tracy Ong

Born and raised in Illinois after graduating High School Tracy moved down south to play college softball and further her education. Her medical career started out by working in a local Pulmonary office. Once realizing her love for the medical field, she furthered her studies in Respiratory Therapy. In 2005 she moved to Fairhope continuing to work in the medical field she began taking on an administrative role, opening an OBGYN office in 2010. She then found herself in the world of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetics where she ran a Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and Medical Spa. In 2020 while the world shut down Dr Mary Wells and Dr. Dusty Smith were training in the world of Aesthetics and Tracy was happy to help start their new endeavor, MD Aesthetics of Mobile Bay. She has also realized her love for the Hospitality Restaurant business, alongside Chef Jeremiah Matthews they opened Southwood Kitchen in 2017, and have Southbar opening sometime in 2021. Along with excelling in her career, Tracy is also a mother. She loves working alongside some of the most talented women around.

Jody Harris

Jody has 18 years of experience in aesthetics with multiple certifications enabling her to provide both traditional and innovative treatments for her patients. She is certified in laser treatments to include photodamage, rejuvenation, hair reduction, skin tightening, facial redness/rosacea, acne and vascular lesions. She has extensive knowledge with compounded chemical peels (Vipeel, Skinceuticals and SkinMedica) and is able to address any areas of concern. She has experience with treating severe skin conditions, improving discoloration and brightening the complexion. She is trained in microneedling, dermaplaning, Hydrafacials and Diamond Glow. She has worked closely with many skincare lines, including Skinceuticals, SkinMedica, Skin Better Science, Obagi, Revision, ZO, Elta, Glo Skin Beauty and Color Science. Jody has kept up with changing technology through the years and loves to research new approaches to satisfy all skin care needs.

Ciara Sanders

Ciara has been a Baldwin County resident for most of her life. Ciara graduated from Daphne High School in 2018. She furthered her education at Coastal Alabama Community College. She then pursued her interest in other job fields and began working for a management office for a year. She realized her love for the beauty and aesthetics world and received a great opportunity to join our team in 2021. She brightens our front desk and assisting our clients with great service and her sparkling personality. Ciara is looking forward to all the new things she will be learning every day!

Charleigh McMahon

Charleigh was born and raised in Fairhope, AL and is a graduate of Fairhope High School. She attended The Career College for Esthetics and graduated in 2022. She’s motivated by helping people gain their confidence and feeling good in their own skin. Charleigh loves concerts, being outdoors, her fur baby Sadie and spending time with friends and family.

Sarah Graham

Sarah was born and raised in Fairhope, AL. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. There, she met her husband and they moved back to her hometown to start their family. They have 3 little boys and currently reside in the Belforest area. Sarah found her passion for skincare and anti-aging when she began working at a med spa in Mobile in 2013. She is a certified laser technician and specializes in many aesthetic procedures including lasers, chemical peels, medical-grade facials, microneedling, and radio frequency. Sarah has 10 years of experience in the skin care world and enjoys treating everything from photodamage, acne, and rosacea, to hair removal and skin laxity. She loves learning about all the newest devices and skin care products that can really make a difference. Outside of work Sarah’s hobbies include reading, DIY home projects, and fun mom stuff like putting her boys in matching pajamas. She is excited to continue her skincare journey at MD Aesthetics!
